Now, Matthew kept records.

He's a tax collector.

I was thinking about this last night and then you brought it up earlier, that Jesus picked him and then he recorded the Sherman on the mound.

Luke wrote it as a documentary, but Matthew was there and he recorded it.

He kept records. He's a tax collector and he kept records. Good choice. And so now, So now let's talk about the wise men.

Matthew chapter 2.

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,

behold there came wise men from the East to Jerusalem.

Saying, where is he that is born the King of the Jews?

For we have seen his star in the East and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things,

he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him. Why? Let's read on. When he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes,

they said unto him in Bethlehem of Judea,

for thus it is written of the prophets,

and thou Bethlehem in the land of Judah are not the least among Jews. the and he shall rule the people of Israel.
