Hello, everybody. It's John Pollock, and it is the history of SummerSlam special here at

Post Wrestling. I did this for WrestleMania back in April and I thought we would revisit

this concept for SummerSlam, which is coming up next weekend in East Rutherford, New Jersey

for two nights at MetLife Stadium. So today, we are going to go through year by year looking

at some of the business notes, highs and lows of each year's SummerSlam,

how it performed, and we'll also slot each SummerSlam into a top, middle, or bottom tier

for all of the events going back to 1988.

I'll make mention of the reported buys over the years.
