I was a cook for a very long time and actually recently I got a phone call offering me one of my jobs back.

They are paying better, but the job itself is exactly what I used to do and there was a reason why I left that job.

Even though the pay would be better, I was tired of being very stressed out and having to work nights and weekends and holidays.

So my comment would just be that sure there's a lot of jobs available, but it's the quality of those jobs.

The pandemic has prompted a lot of change within the workforce.

One considerable shift is workers telling their boss they're not going to take it anymore.

The so-called great resignation hasn't let up since it started in 2021.

In February of this year, over 4 million people quit their jobs, about 74,000 of those who left worked in retail.

The big quit is part of a movement of workers demanding change, safety and respect during a global pandemic.
