stories are so terrible and we tell you about our stupid little lives today is our 24th anniversary

oh what an absolute blessing on may 24th yeah what else is it is it, sweet cheeks? It's also my birthday.

and now I'm even older, and now I'm even older. I can keep on going. I guess you could say it's our golden anniversary since it's 24 years on the 24th. Is that a thing? Am I going to get something gold today? Nope, nope, nope, no golden anniversary. Sorry. Oh, nuts. Whoever came up with that, Oh, I can tell you who came up with that.

say god please my self-esteem can't handle it. Oh, she's so fragile and little. Like, you just say something bad to Allison. I crumble. Crumble into a million pieces. She was crying in the bathroom the other day. I was in the corner rocking because somebody said something mean. No, you haven't done that since childbirth. So we've been pretty good so far. Knuck on wood. Knock on wood. What's new with you besides being older and gorgeouser? I had to laugh. We did a quick little Instagram story about it, but we try to do as much as possible in the evening in order to get ready for the crazy workday slash our kids going to school, yada, so our kids each want an ice latte in the morning. And it takes a bit of time because we're grinding and brewing and all that stuff. So we're like, you know what, let's start making the espresso in the evening and we'll stick in the fridge. So I didn't realize Mike had done that for our daughter. So I grab her cup that she uses for her ice coffee every single day. It's

in a walla cup. And I was like, it was a Monday. And I was like, this is weird. It's there's like, it's full. I'm like, she always drinks it. And these Oala cups are great. It still has ice in it. But then she had testing on Friday. So I was like, okay, maybe she wasn't allowed to have a drink while she was having her test. So without even thinking of it, I just opened the cup,

dumped it down the drain, and it was full of ice. I was like, wow, this is some good insulation. I'm like, it's Monday morning. This thing is still icy since Friday morning. Filled at the brim. How about that? So I didn't think twice about it. I brewed her her coffee and we walked to the

bus stop. So she's getting on the bus and she says to Mike, dad, thank you so much for my ice coffee. And he smiles and he says, you're welcome. And then I look at Allison and she's over there like smiling at me like, what are you talking about? I'm like giving me that kind of look. And I was like, what? Yeah, I thought he was joking and I was like, what are you talking about? I made her her coffee. And he's like,

no, you didn't. I did. And I'm like giving me that kind of look and I was like, what? Yeah, I thought he was joking. And I was like, what are you talking about? I made her her coffee. And he's like, no, you didn't.

I did. And I was like, oh my goodness, I dumped your fresh coffee down the drain. So we ended up making three lattes at night. Oh, what a waste of a delicious latte. I know. Like people are paying good money for those things. We had our whole family in town recently. Well, not our whole family.

My brother and sister-in-law and little niece and made my sister-in-law a bunch of lattes you have three or four whatever throughout the week and she was like these are so good they are so good and remind you guys we we bought that ninja deluxe cafe cafe lux or something like that it's some kind of combination of those words. It's definitely Ninja, definitely Lux, definitely Cafe in there.

But it's, and we don't get paid by them yet. But yeah, it's an awesome machine. If you're going from like a Nespresso, it's a huge upgrade. If you're going from like a Longini or whatever, those super like five. It's a downgrade. It's a downgrade from a $5,000 machine. it's a big upgrade from an espresso.
