| 0:00.0 | Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the Muscle Intelligence Podcast. I'm your host, Ben Bikulski. Today I'm sitting down with the UK's two best personal trainers, two guys who are very close to my heart. Gavin Atori and Dan Smith, actually now muscle intelligence coaches. We're going to sit down and talk about their lives, their training, how they stay optimized every day. Both of them, I watch them work every day very, very hard to optimize the way they look, |
| 0:21.8 | the way they feel, and the way they perform. We're going to dive into that and our process at |
| 0:27.2 | Muslim intelligence and how we can now guarantee results for people and why I think in 10 years |
| 0:32.3 | or less, obesity is going to be absolutely eradicated for all men around the world. If you choose to, stay tuned, listen up, and get ready for a great one. |
| 0:45.7 | All right, boys, here we go. |
| 0:52.0 | So grateful to have you guys here. |
| 0:53.5 | We have so much fun together. Now we can share |
| 0:55.6 | our dynamic with the world. So I flew all the way over to London just to sit here with you two guys |
| 1:00.9 | and have a chat about what we have in the works. And just at breakfast this morning, we sat down |
| 1:05.9 | talking about the paradigm of training in the world and how much it's changing. And, you know, the 80s and 90s and even |
| 1:13.1 | 2000s were filled of all these different class type like Zumba and, you know, all these different |
| 1:20.4 | class type programs. And then, you know, you got into the early 2000s and it was really focused |
| 1:26.4 | on aerobics and everyone went to aerobic gyms. And now we're getting into more like a muscle building focus and everyone sees the benefit of muscle. There's another evolution coming, isn't there? There's this fully integrated model where, at least up to now, it seems as though most people have worked in silos, right? A personal training in the gym, just a personal training. And then if you want a nutritionist, you have to go get nutritionist. And there's a functional medicine practitioner, and then there was a physician, and then maybe you have a longevity doctor, and then maybe you have all these different siloed experts. And as we spoke about this morning at breakfast, obviously with the exclusion of anything medical, the future of performance coaches |
| 2:01.5 | seems to be, and you guys can tell me if this is our sort of uniform opinion, an integrated model |
| 2:07.5 | and integrated person who's AI empowered, who's using artificial intelligence to sort of synthesize |
| 2:13.4 | and integrate all the information, while we then look at the individual. So the way I look at AI is it has all the information in the world, but it doesn't know you. There's nothing about you. It has all the info, but like, how do I apply that? Because context is everything. So what we do is we sort of act as that intermediary between all the information in the world, which is great. And then use, you know, each of us has about 25 years of experience in, like, |
| 2:35.5 | bridging the gap between the client and then all of the knowledge in the world. You guys act |
| 2:40.3 | as that incredible interface. And when I say to the two best coaches in the UK, I don't think |
| 2:44.0 | that's a stretch. That's an honest statement. And I feel incredibly blessed to get able to work |
| 2:49.1 | with you guys every day. And when I can pass off a client to you guys, it's so easy to sell. I'm like, I don't even have to sell. I'm like, you guys, I go and I say, I'm 100% confident. If you do the work, these guys will get you there. So first, I want to say thank you, you guys, who have blown smoke up your butt for being you, for being a remarkable coach for inspiring me every day. And I remember what I hired GAF. |
| 3:24.5 | I went home to my my family and said this guy makes me better and i was like he's such a beautiful compliment because i'm really good at some stuff and i'm really bad at some stuff and when i when dan actually gav recommended you to come on i was like i know he's really smart i know he's really good but is he going to be a diet a cultural fit he's really really quiet anyways i don't want to blow too much smoke but you guys are you guys are remarkable man so i'm grateful to have you here we could start with a little bit of your history because i think it's useful to give a little bit of context of where you guys are and like where you came from dan why don't you kick us off, man? Tell us about your journey to |
| 3:41.8 | where you are here now being what I would say is the UK's best transformation expert, muscle building |
