Recently, I had the opportunity to check out a brand new documentary called He Calls Me Daughter.

So friends of mine over at the Real Life Network said, you got to see this film.

You're going to love it.

And I'm honestly with you guys right out of the gate.

I didn't watch the whole thing.

I watched a huge chunk of the beginning and parts of the middle. And as a woman who was

brought up in a home that left me with a fair amount of I would, these guys call it father wound,

but a fair amount of dysfunction and, and just for lack of a better word, struggle in my adult life, it was hard, it was hard for me

to watch. And also, I think, painfully important, we are living in a time right now of

an incredible lack of good and godly fathers. And we desperately need our men. I do not believe in the lie of toxic

masculinity. I think that God has given us our men to be leaders, providers, protectors for their

families. I happen to be married to an extraordinary man. And anyway, I'm going to interview

the producer of this brand new documentary.

And we're going to have a conversation about what it means to see ourselves as women through the eyes of our heavenly father.

This is going to be a great conversation.
