I'm particularly honored to have with us today, Sergeant Edward Fox of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is the last known survivor from the Battle of Midway, and he celebrated his 100th birthday this week on January the 7th.

Oh, that's great. And I heard that they named January 7th, Ed Fox Day. What did you think

about that? Well, that was a surprise. I've heard of it before, but I thought it was even

to dignitaries. Well, I guess they consider you a dignitary in a way and certainly someone that they honor

in Springfield.

And, you know, it's extraordinary the things that you experienced in your life.

And I wonder if you could tell us a little bit about yourself as a young man and what, you know, how you ended up in the military
