Welcome to Conversations with John and Lisa. Hey, we've been doing an amazing series

on leadership. We have been listening to messages from two leaders who shared at our forum,

our leadership forum, at our eighth annual Messenger Cup. Today, you're going to get to listen

to Lyle Wells. And I want to tell you about Lyle. Lyle is amazing. He's a published author.

He travels and he educates. But I heard him for the very first time at Jesus Culture

LA. And I was so captivated by the parameters and the way he was talking about shaping things

and shifting the mindsets. He talked about taking something from an empire to a kingdom.

And I just knew I was like, okay, I've got to know this person. He has spoken into our

organization. He has spoken into our family. And we are so excited to let him speak into

your life today. So enjoy the wisdom from Lyle.

Let me just start by a couple of quick affirmations for my friend, John Bevere. You know, John

and Lisa, you know this most of the time that my phone rings. It's because it's on fire.

Right? When I get asked to come in and help organizations or families or leaders, it's

broken. And you realize that we change because either broken us or obedience. I mean, that's

why any of us came to the Lord. It was broken us or obedience. And probably 80% of the time

that I get a phone call, somebody says, I'm stuck. I'm frustrated. My team is underperforming

whatever. You know, John and Lisa underperforming is not in their vocabulary, right? And so very

rarely do people come and reach out and say, it's going great, but we think there's somewhere

else to go. And that's just an affirmation for the courage that you two showed, the humility

that you showed in inviting me into this whole process. The other affirmation I have for John,

and he won't remember this, but we've done several events with the team and a couple of them here.
