| 0:14.8 | All right. Welcome back. John back is the co founder of 3D QB training program six years in the NFL. Great college player at BYU former Jets offense of assistant. He has worked now with CJ Stroud. He's worked with Drew Breeze. He's worked with that press got Jimmy Garoppolo Justin Fields, Tray Lance. We thought we'd bring him on today. I was talking to Frank. |
| 0:44.8 | I think right, you know, it was off the record stuff about a week ago. And you know, we were just going back. You're working with CJ Stroud. So CJ is obviously I can just I can watch him play. John he's bigger. He's accurate against Georgia. I saw that he's also he can move. What is your defining trait? If you were selling him and I'd never seen him play John, what does he do with your experience that is high level beyond the average college quarterback who's even good? |
| 1:12.0 | I would say when you watch the way that CJ is able to deliver the ball downfield and to do it effortlessly with pinpoint accuracy. I think that's one of the biggest things to me that when you try to say, what is it that makes him unique? What is it that separates him from some of the other top guys? And I would say that's kind of his thing. It's just how he's able to deliver the ball downfield. |
| 1:34.0 | Pinpoint just drop it in a bucket. It's really impressive. |
| 1:37.9 | Now he's not what I like about him. It reminds me of Justin Herbert. I didn't know he could run until they played Wisconsin. I didn't think of CJ as a runner until they played Georgia. But he really his natural innate game is sit, study, throw. |
| 1:54.6 | Is he more act is he more athletic than we think you tell me what you see. |
| 2:00.4 | Well, I'm not sure what you think, but I know he's athletic. I played a lot of basketball with the guy. |
| 2:05.6 | And you know what, he's impressive on the basketball court. And I know that when everybody had the opportunity to watch the Georgia game, I had some people say, wow, I didn't know we had that in him. |
| 2:16.1 | And to think about CJ that I loved about and this process and the pre draft I got to know even more about him was how he knew he wanted to play in the college system at Ohio State to prepare himself to succeed in the NFL. |
| 2:28.7 | He knew he wanted to work through his progressions. He knew he wanted to be great at staying the defense. He wanted to be really good at all those things that really make a quarterback succeed from the pocket. |
| 2:37.7 | And I think what that Georgia game did was it gave people an opportunity to see what if he needs to take off because that's what his team needs. |
| 2:44.7 | What if he needs to scramble for each of the yards because that's what his team needs. I don't know if up to that point. If those opportunities were there for him because he was having so much success from the pocket. |
| 2:53.7 | But in that game, he showed this is the athlete that I am. |
| 2:56.7 | Okay, Will Levis, a little bit of a gun show at the combine muscular kid has, you know, smart family mom went to Yale. |
| 3:04.7 | One of a lot of games in the SEC in his last year, he didn't have a lot to work with. |
| 3:08.7 | He lost some really good offensive line into the NFL. And so I think he was under a lot more duress. What do you like about him? The arm stuff's obvious. |
| 3:17.7 | So what is he have to work on, John? What do you look and think? Okay, at the NFL level, you were there for six years. Will you got to get better at blank? |
| 3:26.7 | So I've had some opportunities to work with Will in his off seasons. I know he did his pre draft with Jordan Palmer down here in Southern California. |
| 3:33.7 | The thing that I like that will is had is he's had two offensive coordinators that have been in NFL systems. |
| 3:38.7 | So he's going to come in really well prepared for the type of offenses that he's been running at college to what it's going to be like in the pros. |
| 3:45.7 | In terms of what he can work on, look, again, I've only had limited time with him. Only some things here are there. Some guys that have been around him more than me would know no more. |
