So when you get passed over, when you fall in the draft, did it tick you off?

Yes, sir.

I mean, I went to the draft and got passed over.

So I was in the back waiting the whole night to hear my name called. And, you know, when I didn't hear it called, that night was tough for me. Went home the next morning and just spent time with my family. And then, by the grace of God, you know, I got my name called on the second day. but yeah, I carry that with me every day.

Still, to this day, while I'm working out. I always think about it. What did your family say? I mean, they always believed in me, so of course they're going to encourage me and, you know, tell me what I want to hear. But, I mean, the hardest part is looking yourself in the mirror and telling yourself the truth, like, are you worth it? And only you can answer that question. And when I told myself, yeah, I'm going to be the best.

So I just put my head down and just kept working.
