Laker Celtics last night was a lot of fun. Here's an interesting thing.

The Laker fans beat Milwaukee they feel very good and should have beaten the Celtics they think.

So you faced a very tired Celtics team the Lakers shot a better field goal percentage a better free throw percentage had more steals fewer turnovers far more points in the paint fewer files and at home lost to a road weary Celtics team.

Well did you see the three point discrepancy I think Boston made 19 what what Lakers made like eight well and this is so it's often we tend to do this I don't like to do this but I've done it before.

We blame the player of the coach. We do that I do that it's the construct of the roster the Lakers don't have enough good shooters they face to team that does in Boston Boston hit more the Lakers

and they don't have great wing defenders that's not Darvin Ham's fault can't blame Darvin Ham for that they did have wing defenders and they got rid of them all for Anthony Davis and so now you have a roster that can't defend the three that's why they could never beat Golden State.

You have a roster that can't defend the three and can't hit the three now they can play good defense and Darvin Ham's a defensive guy Anthony Davis so they're playing good defense but there are limitations.

I always blame the player the coach there's nothing don't you can't give me a break on the missing free throws guys miss free throws all the time LeBron's more the great if not the greatest player ever he's missed a lot of free throws.

I know I know blame the player in this instance you got to go bigger than that.

Well AD also miss free throws against the sixers that could have ice the game and go they go to overtime and now all needs to make his one.

Let me ask you know who else missed a ton of free throws maybe you've heard of them shack and Tim Duncan.

But shack had an elite GM and Duncan had an elite GM so the team could overcome missing free throws the Lakers margins are so tiny because they don't have any three shooters and don't have any wing defenders that in the end of the game were all like you got to hit the free throw.

Duncan missed a boatload and has how many titles shack they literally called it hack a shack because the construct of the roster Phil Jackson could coach around that Greg pop of it could coach around it poor Darvin Ham can't coach around it he's got to have AD on the floor.

Because they don't have any wing defenders they've got to be at least good defending the iron so you know we love blaming the guy think Darvin Ham has had a spectacular year he literally convinced Westbrook to come off the bench and Russell's been terrific and Russell's a very from what I can tell a rigid guy Westbrook's been terrific largely I don't want to nitpicked you see the Celtic saying Russ take all the threes you want last night and over time go ahead well I did not and you took him any missed all of them I did not like.

The Laker shot selection in overtime it was abysmal.

Here was LeBron talking about another close loss.

How do these almost like the almost in Philadelphia almost tonight what does that say big picture about the steam does it say that you guys are moving on the right direction that we lost.

You're talking to the wrong guy talking about almost when does it change your law in terms of you this team we lost.

Yeah yeah be nice to have a couple of guys who could hit a three.
