On August 8, 1976, a man was born who would go on to

commit heinous acts against women. It was the act of one of those potential victims who would

bring this man down before his victim count got any higher. So if you like your coffee hot,

Sean Michael Great was born on August 8, 1976, in Marion, Ohio, and grew up in what was

described as a pretty normal household.

He played sports, socialized with children his age, and was overall a pretty good kid. However, according

to Sean's sister, things at home were less than idyllic. Their mother, Teresa McFarland,

married a man named Edward Meadows when she was just 14 years old. An abusive relationship,

one that produced daughter Barbara, Teresa met Terry Great when they were both

working at a bar, and after getting out of her troubled marriage in 1972, the pair married

in 1974.

That same year, they had a son, Jason, and in 1976, had Sean.

Barbara described her mother as negligent towards her children and said that her marriage
