Hey y'all, welcome to the Christian Bay TV and podcast for Christ and Culture Connects.

As you see from the title, today we're talking about God starts with the heart and we're coming from the book of 1st Samuel chapter 16 and

verse 7 so grab your journals early on in my walk with God I can remember him teaching me and

constantly reminding me the importance of not leaning on your sight,

not trusting what you see over what he said. And even though I've been on this journey for about eight years now since 2015, I still find myself having to challenge myself and remind myself on the daily, don't trust what you see, just stick with what God said and I feel like it's

very hard because we live and we see every day so it's like what you wake up and what you do

every day God is literally telling you yeah don't do that.

Yeah, I understand that you're used to seeing things and I understand that your trust comes from what you see, but when it comes to me in my kingdom, I'm telling you to train yourself and challenge yourself to not be moved or not grow weary

based on what you see but live according to what I say.

And even though it sounds good coming out, it's actually hard to do because when you wake up and you get out of
