Pastor Gregg Laurie says God hates lying and we should too.

When we lie, it's just something disturbing about our character.

I'll tell you why God hates lying because he is the source of and the very personification

of truth. In contrast to Jesus, we have the devil who's described in the Bible as the father

of lies. So when we lie, we're behaving more like children of the devil than children of God.

This is the day when the lost are found.

This is the day for a moment again.

Always in grace, I'll sweep the stone.

Again, you get a lonely angel for seeing it.

This is the day when I begin.

Children often look like their parents.

They could be facial features, the way they move their hands as they speak or their laugh.

And a child will often mimic his parents' mannerisms.

Something about an apple not falling far from a tree.

But ever since Eve was handed the fruit of one particular tree, Satan has been lying to us.
