Good evening and welcome back to bedtime Bible stories for adults.

Whether you listen to help you fall asleep or you just like to listen during the day, I'm so glad you're here.

I want to thank Joseph and his wife for their support of this podcast.

I'm very pleased that you both are enjoying the stories.

And thank you to everyone who has rated or followed.

So many of us are struggling with health issues.

And several of you have offered to pray for my own health issues, which is so sweet

and much appreciated. I felt like we needed some Jesus this episode, some healing, some encouragement.

We will be reading through some amazing stories of when Jesus healed the sick,

or dying, or even raised people from the dead.

Because there are so many, praise God, there will be two parts.

Part one has one of my all-time favorite healing stories.

I'll tell you which one it is in part two.

Notice how long some of these individuals were sick.

I hope this will bring us some comfort to know that we aren't alone and will increase our faith as we look forward to healing in God's perfect timing.

To relax your muscles from your neck to your shoulder blades, to your arms,

your hands and fingers, your back, your legs, all the way to your toes.

Let the weight of your body sink into your bed and pillow breathe in deeply and breathe out slowly

empty your mind of any burdens or worries and give them to God and prepare to listen to the Word of God.
