And I could not agree more. Definitely an admirable goal, but not everyone

agrees on how this should be done or if it should be done at all. Some argue that DEI is essential

for addressing health disparities. Others believe that it's nothing but a quota system

that is dangerous at best and could lead to unintended consequences such as lower standards of

excellence or division among health care professionals who may resent being forced to work with unqualified colleagues.
