Okay, right off the bat, Joe, did this work for you, or do you understand some of the complaints people had?

0:38.7

I think this worked about 95% for me, and then 5% of me understands where people are coming from.

0:45.7

Because, yeah, in a way, this wraps up in a very neat and tidy bow.

0:51.2

And I think for some people, it's just going to ring. Not inauthentic, but it's a little

0:57.1

too pat. It's a little too safe. I think some people kind of wrote this off as, oh, okay, well,

1:04.8

you could have done more with this. Yeah. I think I'm kind of in the same boat. I didn't really

1:09.8

mind that, yeah, it's all a bit twee. But I think, I think, I'm, I think I'm kind of in the same boat. I didn't really mind that, yeah, it's all a bit twee.

1:11.8

But I think, I think, I'm going back to that discussion we had on The Witch, you know, a couple months ago on the main feed, where we were kind of debating the good for herness ending of what that meaning implies.

1:37.7

And well, and they're all trapped in this house that's supposed to be evil.

1:41.5

And so I don't even mind the resolution for the kids that are still alive. Like, sure, it's Pat, it's happy, whatever. But the implication for the ending for the ghost characters, I'm like, yeah, I guess you're all together, but you're still trapped in this evil house, progatory for the rest of your afterlife. See, and this is where I challenge you. One final time for the series, I think we always just default assumed that the house was evil when in fact what this is

2:04.7

revealing is that this is a Ryan Murphy level murder house where it's just that people

2:11.5

die here and they stay here.

2:14.0

So if you die in the house, you stay there forever.

2:16.3

But it's the individual people

2:18.0

who make it evil, not necessarily the house itself. I mean, if the house is killing people,

2:23.3

would you not say that that makes it evil? It's not the house killing people, though. It's people

2:27.2

like Poppy. People like William. I love that we're still having this debate because I'm sitting
