Summary

In Episode 368 Jeff Belanger and Ray Auger explore the haunted Fleur de Lys building in Providence, Rhode Island. Built in 1885 by artist Sydney Richmond Burleigh, the building has always served as a studio for area artists. In 1921, Burleigh’s protégé took her own life inside the building. There were rumors of an affair, and that her ghost has haunted the building ever since.

0:06.6	Kentucky River. It's just one block that way and our destination is just up
0:10.9	here on Thomas Street. Okay, it's pretty cold today, Jeff.
0:14.0	October's chill is settling on the city.
0:16.0	It is, and it's a perfect time of year to look for ghosts.
0:20.0	Oh, so we're looking for a haunted building?
0:22.0	We are. The houses here are pretty close to each other.
0:24.8	Just a few feet between some of them.
0:26.8	And which one are we looking for?
0:28.1	Okay, this haunt really sticks out. I mean you cannot miss this house.
0:31.5	Well, there's a white steeple Baptist church on our right.
0:33.9	Yeah, right, that's not the haunt.
0:35.5	Our destinations on the other side.
0:37.4	Hmm.
0:38.2	Well, that house sticks out big time.
0:39.9	And that would be the place.
0:41.6	Okay, it's a two and a half story house,
0:43.8	obviously somewhat old.
0:45.6	There's some paintings on either side
0:47.7	and in the middle of the second story windows.
0:50.3	There's embossed stonework tiles all over it and it's painted golden yellow in black trim.
