We're late this year.

Everyone, we should apologize to everyone for being so late with this.

August is, you know, a terrible time to do this sort of thing,

because we each had our own little independent week-long vacations, and then I had to go to New York to travel, and you've been traveling, and then there was Labor Day.

It's like the gods were conspiring against the deadcast.

We're busy people. We have things to do.

We're very, very important, Marshman.

I will say this.

Labor Day every year really kind of fucks me.

It's really, actually, it's not Labor Day's fault.

It's more, it's the NFL's fault because now they have, they have the Thursday kickoff,

and that happens after Labor Day.

So all the, all the takes of, all the football takes have to be squeezed into this three-day window.

And it's just not enough time for, for all my football takes to age properly and take on weight

and really get that sort of dry-aged rub to them.

So it's really Roger Goodell's fault. Everything can be traced back to Roger Goodell.
