Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of the Tom Hartman Program.

This is Richard R.J. Esco, sitting in for Tom. It is a Friday

the end of another action-packed week. We'll get to that in a second I by the way if you don't know me I'm the

I'm also a writer and I try to stay out of trouble and I don't do very well at that final test.

Now, as I said, we of course an action-packed week this week.

What other kind of week have we been having lately except an action-packed week?

So we're going to get to some of the news stories.

But first, I don't know if you feel the way I do.

But it seems to me that since Donald Trump got elected the new cycle has accelerated to a

frenetic pace. It was always a fast-paced culture that we live in but the news

stories are breaking so often so fast so

furious in this case literally furious when it comes to Trump and his white

nationalist followers that sometimes I have to wonder whether we can even keep pace with it,

whether we can even absorb all the information that's being thrown our way.

So before we get to the news events of recent cycles I want to step out of

the pace of current events and look backwards in history for a feature I'm going to call the mystery

leftist. This is going to be a pop quiz for listeners of the Tom Hartman program.
