Tom Hartman here with you, and welcome back from your Labor Day weekend.

There's a bunch of Labor Day stuff or Labor stuff that I wanted to talk about today.

And arguably, I suppose DACA falls into that category.

And as much as you've got 800,000 more or less, just short of a million young people who came to

this country as children following their parents and President Obama because the Republicans in Congress

couldn't they were well I don't recall if they if they if they blocked the bill the Dream Act if it was

filibustered in the Senate or if it was if they just you know couldn't get the thing into the house it would depend on what

year it came in and that's the one thing I don't have in front of me I'm sorry

but the the dream act is really you know I mean this is what needs to be done now.

That would be the Democratic version.

Now the Republican version that they're busily working on will say, you know, unless you're employed and unless you're employed and

unless you're employed and or going to school,

in the military, we're going to school, and or in the military.

We're going to deport you.

So quick, get one of those three, right?

And for young people, you know, hey, there aren't jobs everywhere.

Although about 95% of these dreamers

are actually in one of those three categories right now.

But. right now. But, you know, my guess is that if Republicans do this, they're going to use this as a weapon to get
