But back when George W Bush was president,

2000 and 2001, it was published in 2002 and I was invited to Oxford University in the UK in Britain to give a speech about corporate personhood in the United States and how it was presenting

itself in other countries including the UK.

And I showed up for and it was a very big deal. I mean it was a great honor and the

the president of the college that was sponsoring us as I recall it was Christchurch

uh... but i could be wrong but the president of the college had a private dinner

for me afterwards with a whole bunch of the various department heads and it was just it was it was really

cool but what happened what what was just fascinating to me this must have

been like 2004 it was in that neighborhood, maybe 2003. It was right after Bush invaded Iraq.

Or in the year after he invaded Iraq. So I show up at the university and they take me to the the the hall where I'm
