It's time to step into the snake pit time.

So the other day on why today doesn't suck, the incredibly popular segment that we do to start our show.

We had the birthday of one Patrick Duffy.

Patrick Duffy is known as Bobby from the TV show Dallas,

which ran from, what, late 70s, early 80s,

all the way through the decade of the 80s.

It was the number one show of the 80s.

I do believe that maybe it finished first in the ratings like eight straight years or something crazy like that.

Like it was a juggernaut.

My parents were really into it.

I really wasn't.

He also had step by step with Suzanne Summers. Yeah, he did. I forgot about that. That was late 80s, early 90s? Early 90s, yeah. South Park. And South Park. Where he was the leg. Yeah. Of who? Can't remember. Yeah, sorry. But Patrick Duffy was a monster on that show of Dallas.

He probably was the second most popular guy on the show next to JR.

J.R. Ewing.

And, yeah, you can't really quantify how popular this show was. If you weren't around in the 80s to see it, it just, it dominate. Like, even as, it's, it was a different time because there were only four channels, three channels, really. Yeah. At that time, because it was before Fox. And I guess we had never seen a show like that. I don't know. I don't know why it became so

popular. I have no idea. There was just nothing else. It may have been it, but everything else was

static. Boy, it's like the Ken Dryden of TV shows. It definitely became this tent pole that

everybody talked about and it kind of defined the area.

Unfortunately, for us, people that lived here,

people then perceived that we were all like these Dallas people that lived on ranches and things like that.

And I would imagine Bob, someone growing up in Wisconsin, you thought,
