I came away with a lot of hot takes last weekend when I did my three-day jaunt out west to San Francisco.

And one of them is that, you know, for a city of Dallas that doesn't have a ton of history.

It's still a relatively new city.

Mm-hmm.

I would say, right, in the grand scheme of things.

In the grand scheme compared to, say, Rome or Athens.

Yeah.

It's a bit of a new city.

Or our friends on the East Coast where, you know, people landed first.

Yes.

In their boats and their super yachts to get here.

Compared to Plymouth Rock, Dallas, new.

We're a little new.

But we're old enough to also, it would seem to have some historical facts that would be denoted as fun.

And I feel like we don't have a lot of those as people tend to focus on, you know, the Kennedy assassination a lot.

There's just not a ton of, like if your parents came here and they were like big history buffs and they're like, I want to come.

I want to see all the historical things that

happen here. Okay. And then what do you list? Where are we taking them? I don't know. I mean,

you're going to the sixth floor museum for sure. Yes. You know, my dad was always fascinated with

the Bonnie and Clyde's story and, you know, they killed a couple of police officers out in Grapevine. But again, that's not like one of those things that you hang your hat on. I'll take him to Cedar Crest, show them where Walter Hagan won a major. I don't know if your dad would be too impressed by that. Stockyards? Yeah, I think the stockyards are part of it for sure. They're part of the historical makeup of this region, whether or not you think that the cowboy scene is dumb. It's definitely part of, well, people would argue it's where the West started, Bob. Great by Mills Mall. Swing them over to Northwood, show them where Julius Boros won a major. All right. we're not on the golf tour. Take him over to DAC. Show where Nicholas won in 63.
