The Rangers just announced as we tease the weird weekend with the Astros,

as they took two or three from the Rangers and the weird scenario that unfolded for Corey Seeger.

Well, Corey didn't play all weekend long.

And now Chris Young has announced that he is going on the injured list.

And he had an MRI because he was experiencing back spasms and I guess they found something they didn't like.

Yeah.

So he's going to be out for a while and young says our anticipation is this will give him

the chance to reset mentally because as we talked about on i don't know Wednesday or

Thursday of last week it's the worst season and stretch that he's ever had and it's not even close yeah

and he's i mean you can't bench Corey Seeger.

You can't drop him down in the lineup.

So he's right that this is maybe a blessing in disguise that he can get physically and mentally

right at the same time.

It's such a weird team.

It's such a terrible offense.

And even though he's been in such a bad way, I don't know what this is going to do short term or long term.

I know that they went off yesterday and had a good couple innings and took advantage of a pretty bad Houston staff.

The numbers were staggering how bad bad Houston staff that was the numbers were staggering

how bad the Houston staff has been this year and the lack of hits the Rangers and runs provided

for the first what 25 innings of that series or 23 innings of that series it was bad bad

historically bad for going up against such a bad staff.

And, you know, it's such a weird spot because it's two years in now,
