right into the Hall of Fame, the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Every year at the Super Bowl, they announced their next class.

And sources were confirming that the eight-time... they announced their next class.

And sources were confirming that the eight-time Super Bowl winning coach,

six with the Patriots, two with the Giants, is not a first ballot Hall of Famer.

He fell short of the 40 out of 50 needed during his first year of eligibility.

Four sources with knowledge told ESPN.

He received a call from a representative Friday with the news that it won't be this year.

Several sources who spoke with the coach over the weekend described him as puzzled and disappointed by his inability to secure support from 80% of hall committee members.

And then, of course, everybody in the football world said, that's crazy, yo, because it is.

And he was a member of the, what's, I'm trying to remember the name of the committee where he is a senior candidate.
