Hey Resolvers, we wanted to talk to you a little bit today and have something to read to you.

We are three white women who are not here to express our own sadness and heartbreak about the

quote state of things right now. We do feel sorrow, but it cannot compare to the

sorrow felt by people of color day by day minute by minute as they say goodbye to their loved

ones and have to have the pang of fear that they may not see them again.

We are here to bear witness to our own whiteness, to the racist systems that were built to benefit people who look like us and

oppress those who don't.

We are committed to further educating ourselves on the issues our non-white friends,

family, and fellow humans have been facing their entire lives.

Our white complacency being one of the catalysts that have perpetuated ideas in the larger

society to continue, fester, and destroy black and brown lives.

We firmly stand with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Listen to those words,

Black Lives Matter.

That's all that's being requested.

Just an acceptance and understanding and

a valuing of their fully human selves. We often receive very nice messages from

our listeners thanking us for being a distraction in these difficult times.

We can't tell you how much we appreciate you enjoying our show and you laughing and sometimes

crying or raging along with us.
