and when Jay couldn't look after him anymore, it was time for him to go to a care home.

There were a hundred things Jay wanted to tell her dad's new carers,

but they didn't seem to be a way for her to do that.

However, Jay is a writer who worked at Time magazine.

So she wrote a one-page summary of her dad's life,

outlining his childhood in Australia and his international career.
