in the fact that Amazon really screwed us back in September by getting rid of just thousands

of our subscriptions on a whim and not really telling us who those subscribers were so we

couldn't actually follow up. So we've been slowly rebuilding. Our story is

titled The Happiness Institute and is by Anna Maria Curtis. Anna Maria Curtis is from the part of Illinois that is very much not Chicago.

She's the winner of the L'Lavar Burton reads, Origins and Encounters writing contest,

and the 2019 Dell magazine Award, and her work has been published in

magazines including Strange Horizons, Uncanny, and beneath ceaseless skies.

In her free time Anna Maria enjoys starting fights about 19th century British literature and getting distracted by dogs.
