No way. Sure, I could be out at the beach or I could be spending all day climbing a mountain or at a restaurant or at a bar, but why would I want to do that and leave all of you hanging? I know many of you are probably stuck in traffic right now driving home. You start swiping the phone. Well, you shouldn't do that when you're driving. But you're looking at it, maybe someone else is driving, and you're hoping

you had something to listen to, maybe you're on a plane, maybe you're any number of places here

today, and you just would like to have a little new content, a little something uplifting,

and I flutter myself that perhaps you even like the sound of my voice and what I have to say

and bring to the table for that I thank you so I decided

to show up I also have an update on Derek and why he is out which I know he spoke about a little bit

on the show so I forget I'd give a little update on that the Baruka situation his cat he and I talked

with him and Heather quite a bit.

speaking of the new york sun let me mention two things one is my column on labor day i think

i'm going to have to run i filed two but one is for those of you't know, and for those of you who are my age, which means in your 50s, and you remember the Breakfast Club. This is the 40th anniversary of the Breakfast Club, and it will be re-released into theaters on September 7th and 10th. So if you're interested in re-seeing the movie, if you remember it and haven't seen it maybe since the 80s, you don't have the big hair anymore, you don't have the parachute pants anymore. Boy, those were comfortable, weren't they? But you still, a little bit of your head, I'm looking at my TV right now. I have the police synchronicity album on there. It's pause while I talk to you, fine people. So there you go. I'm living back in the 80s here. And so if you do, and if you have kids yourself now, I would encourage you, go see it in the theater. There's not much in theaters to see anymore. You can go ahead, read my column in the New York

Sun about it, having rewatched it, look at it with a different perspective. There's so much

in that film, it really makes you look at movies today and say, what are they teaching? Are

they teaching? Are there people who are natural than anything anymore? Or do we just have people who go into a business to be in that business?
