Now, he's certainly a White Sox Hall of Fame or one of the best pictures in the history of the franchise.

But what about Cooperstown?

On the surface, many people outside of Chicago, and even in Chicago, and on the south side of Chicago say he was great,

but maybe not Hall of Fame, great.

But dig into Burley's numbers, his accomplishments, and his unicorn career, and the Hall of

Fame case for Burley might change and grow over time.

And although we aren't actual Hall of Fame voters, all three of us shared our own ballots for this year.

The players we would have put in the Hall of Fame and the players we would not.

Thanks to the steroid era, it can really be a mental puzzle deciding who is a Hall of

And it led to a spirited debate between us.
