because we're in a bit of a pickle under a deadline.

We recorded this episode last week,

and it turns out the file was corrupted.

So unfortunately you just got one of your friends here with you today,

but I'm still so glad that you tuned in

because we're going to continue in Hebrew chapter 11 today and

we're actually picking up in verse number 30 and it's here in Hebrew 11 verse

number 30 we come across these words it was by faith that the people of Israel marched around

Jericho for seven days and the walls came crashing down. Now if you're like me, when you hear those words,

the wall came crashing down that song from

Sunday school when you were like five or six or seven comes back into memory

you know the one that goes and the walls came tumbling down.

Well, that's where we're at.

Last week we followed the Israelites across the Jordan River and we saw these neat connections

between Joshua leading the people under God's

direction in God's leadership through the Jordan kind of like Moses under God's

direction and empowerment led the people through the Red Sea.

Well, Joshua led them into the promise land, not just away from something, but into something.
