Well, a civil war has ripped the Maga movement in half, and it lasted all of three days and casualties are apparently zero.

Hi everybody, I'm Bill Wittle here with Steve Green and Scott Ott, and I'm speaking of course about the kerfuffle about the H-1B visa.

That story is pretty much over as we record this, but there's something that, two aspects of this that I find really interesting one of them is oh by the way I'm Bill Whittle here with Steve Green

and Scott out one of the things guys that I found interesting about this was how

how people went into this fight and how they immediately ramped up the emotion

because they were looking at the same thing

from different sides. That to me is, it was, I'm more, like I said, the story essentially is over,

but the lessons that we can learn from it, I think, are really fresh. So, Scott, let's start with you.

The people that saw the H-1B visa as a means to increase America's brain power and to make up deficiencies in our own education

and make sure that we stay on top of the world technologically in terms of that kind of advance,

see the H-1B visa as a positive good.

And so when the subject came up, they went rushing into that.

Alon Musk was leading this charge.

We absolutely have to have it.

It's an absolute necessity, you know, this is a hill I'm going to die on

and immediately turn the emotions up to 11 because they feel very strongly.

It's a good thing.

On the other hand, there are people that look at the H1B misuse of the visa and say, no, all it is is a way for businesses to bring in tech workers that can be found in America and get them to work at a third the price. It's just a giant scam. It's just a rip-off and more government, you know, keeping us away from the free market.

And they're also right. Both sides are right. And they went up to 11. And so these two things

collided at the top. But what seemed to me to happen, which is, I think is just really wonderful,

is that once this thing actually reached ahead, like I say,

the Civil War that the left was hoping for so much and so dearly seemed to last about two or
