Lions fans, are you more confident, less confident after watching last night's game?

Now, here's what I was going to tell Jeff Rieger.

The reason why I don't think it's sustainable is because starting next week,

you are playing the better teams of the NFL.

You're not going to be playing the Chicago Bears twice.

You're not going to be playing the 49ers.

You're going to be playing playoff teams and playoff games.

And yeah, all the games may be here in Detroit, but at some point, you can't just keep trying

to outscore people.

Your defense has to step up and make a key third or fourth down stop.

You can't let teams just keep going in and scoring touchdowns on you.

And your defense, Lions defense, has to go out there and make a big time play and

rush the quarterback.

It was very disheartening when I saw that Zadaria Smith and the boys couldn't do anything

last night in Santa.

I agree with you.

Especially as you pointed out so astutely, a rebuilt backup offensive line.

Ford, new linemen.

And this is why I do lean to you.

But yeah, I'm on the fence.

I'm not afraid to admit it.
