There are some states that don't report abortions at all

and haven't for decades. And with the advent of chemical abortion, there are many abortions

that don't get reported because, well, it's just too easy for women and girls, girls,

to obtain abortion pills and self-administer the abortion. So when Gutmacher Institute

comes out with abortion numbers, we want to pay attention, but we have to put an asterisk

2025 abortion estimates from the Gutmacher Institute, Dr. Michael New, visiting

assistant professor of social research and political science at the Catholic University of America,

What is the Gutmacher Institute? The Guttmacher Institute is a research organization that conducts

research and analysis on abortion and contraception. Up until around 2006 or 2007, they were actually the official research arm of Planned Parenthood,

even though they're no longer directly connect to Planned Parenthood, the research they do and the

information they release, tends to have very strong bias in favor of both abortion and contraception.

How accurate, generally speaking, are Goodmocker's numbers?
