Well, all right again, welcome back once again to the Gatowski file starring our very own, Stephen Gatowski. Stephen is the founder, owner and editor-in-chief over at the reload.com. And as always, there was a hyperlink in the description. Steven, how are you, my friend? I'm doing well. How are you? Not too bad. We've been out this for an hour and a half already,

0:37.8

but we're finally hit the record button. We're getting started. We've talked about topics to

0:42.0

include the Eagles and a very unfortunate, if you're an Eagles fan, trade of a very high-profile

0:47.7

wide receiver to the evil New England Patriots. We'll talk about that a little bit afterwards.

0:53.6

Yeah, I definitely want to, we're definitely the same time to football stuff because I'm all wrong up about it. It'll probably be equal gun stuff to football talk. We have a little bit of time because being the fetching Mrs. Wilburne of things to do. So, Stephen, we're going to talk at least for a little bit here about a member exclusive and analysis piece over at the reload

1:11.0

by you, Mr. Stephen Katowski, the headline of which is the question, where is DOJ's gun rights

1:17.5

restoration plan? It's something we've talked about in this space before. The idea being

1:22.3

if you are, if you had your gun rights removed due to a criminal conviction, can they be restored under what conditions can they be restored?

1:31.3

And this is something that the Trump's DOJ has been talking about doing.

1:35.9

And there doesn't really seem to be a formal avenue or channel by which people can request the restorations.

1:42.8

Stephen talked to us about that.

1:44.0

Evidently, there was a, according to you, a, quote, batch has been released.

1:49.2

Now, when I think of a batch of cookies, I think of at least 12, this batch was in fact four,

1:55.0

one of which appears to be as a result of a lawsuit.

1:57.5

So talk to us of what the heck's going on over there at the DOJ.

1:59.6

Yeah, it appears to be as a good qualifier because we don't actually know the reasoning behind

2:04.9

why these four men had their rights restored, just that they were restored by, actually

2:10.9

by former Attorney General Pam Bondi during her tenure. This is, these happened back on March 30th, but we're just hearing

2:18.1

about them now because that's when the DOJ, uh, published its, uh, required register notice in the

2:25.5

the federal register. So, uh, we don't actually know a ton about these guys or why DOJ decide,

2:33.6

why the attorney general decided to restore their rights,

2:36.4

other than like you said, there's been some public reporting that indicates at least one of them
