All right again, welcome back yet again to the Gatowski file starring our good friend, Stephen

0:22.8

Gatowski. He is the founder, owner and editor-in-chief over at the reload.com. As always,

0:28.4

there is a hyperlink to the reload.com in the description. Stephen, how are you, my friend?

0:33.6

I'm doing well. How are you? Not too bad. Is there any, I know there's some Philadelphia sports news that we can talk to you about now, if it's brief.

0:40.9

Otherwise, we can wait till the end, your call?

0:43.6

Well, not. I mean, I think since the last time we talked, the Flyers and Sixers both moved on and Sixers beat Celtics in Game 7. So that was pretty cool.

0:53.2

They, of course, both also lost in their first games, and the Flyers are now down too in the second round. So I don't know how much longer the whole Cinderella thing is going to last for either one of those teams, but it's been a fun, you know, fun, I mean, the Sixers should probably be better than a second round exit. That's kind of always been the complaint with them

1:11.3

as they never could get, you know, maybe they can, every once in a while they'll win in the first round, but haven't been able to, you know, get to the finals or win a championship. And the Flyers are more of an up-and-coming. Nobody was really sure they would even make the playoffs and it's cool that they won a series, especially against the Penguins. so I don't know. And then the Phillies, yeah, they turn back around.

1:30.4

But we could save the rest for after the gun news,

1:34.5

because as much as the impulse is there to do a, make this a sports show.

1:40.9

And I could ramble on about this for quite a while.

2:19.3

I guess we should focus on the relatively big gun news, right? Hold on. There is a lot of big gun news. Whenever somebody references Cinderella and sports talk, I was thinking Bill Murray and Caddyshack. Cinderella story out of nowhere. Anyway, that's currently my time. All right. So, yeah, there is some big gun news, mainly around the ATF. First of all, I want you to talk about... We've mentioned his name before, Mr. Sakata, the new permanent director. The fact that we have a permanent director is significant. And then there is a bunch of new rules. And normally when we talk about new rules out of the ATF, you're like, oh, great, new rules out of the ATF. But this time it isn't such a bad thing.

2:24.3

I do want to ask your opinion on three of them in particular.

2:33.1

One of them, excuse me get my notes here, one of them has to do with reducing the burden on individual,

2:35.7

sort of individual gun owners.

2:40.8

And then another one has to do with braced rifles and how they're categorized.

2:43.0

And then what was the third one?

2:44.5

Actually, talk about those two for now.

2:46.1

And I'll check my notes for the other one.

2:52.3

Yeah, well, I think first off, it's good to start with just the overall scope of this,

2:58.8

because there's 34 new rules that they announced last week at an event that I attended and covered,

3:03.3

where I met the new permanent director of the ATF, Robert Sakata.
