Hello, Guilty Feminist. This is Deborah. We're busy making new episodes for you, but in the meantime, we're going back to the archives for this incredible show from 2018, talking about the wind rush generation. Seven years on, and this episode is more relevant than ever, and we must always remember the scandal at the heart of this appalling story, which speaks to the callousness and racism inherent in the structures

of British government. But this episode is also about the importance of free and fair reporting

and the power it has. One of my strongest memories of this night is Dana Alexander's stand-up,

which is not for the faint-hearted and plays heavily with themes of race and slavery, but really has

an impact. This episode was recorded

at Barbican in London, always one of my favourite places to play. I'm really missing doing more

live shows, and so I'm very excited that I'll be back out on my book tour in late March and
