I'm a feminist, but today, as I was coming into my show, there's no stage door because it's the Edinburgh Festival,

and while this is a fabulous venue here, the Pleasance Grant,

is an honour to play it, it's a famous Edinburgh Festival venue, it's huge, it's great,

there is no stage door because it's really a gym,

and there is no backstage loo because it's really a gym, there's no no backstage loop because it's really a gym.

And so I have to sort of squeeze past the audience going, excuse me, excuse me, excuse me, excuse me.

arguing with this usher, and the usher was going,

I said to the Asher, look, there's always someone

who doesn't turn up, you know, who can't make it across Edinburgh, because there are the shows run late or something, I'll just walk them in and I'm sure we can find them a seat.
