Dr. Robert Bransfield is a board-certified psychiatrist and Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and has held leadership roles including Past President of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). 
 
With over 30 years of clinical experience, his work has focused on patients with treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions, many of whom were later found to have underlying infectious contributors. 
 
Dr. Bransfield has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications examining the relationship between Lyme disease, immune dysfunction, and psychiatric symptoms, contributing significantly to the field of neuropsychiatric Lyme disease.
