The way we got to debt cancellation was not because of researchers, it was not because

of policymakers and it sure was not because of elected officials.

It was because of borrowers coming together and really organizing and really small numbers

at first to show the absurdity of the student loan system and through their organizing.

This is the only reason we even know the phrase debt cancellation and it's the only reason

now that millions of people have experienced the filling of debt cancellation and it's

the reason why we're in the moment where debt cancellation is filling more real than
