Today, I'm welcoming Michael Lutz to the program.

Michael is the founder, president, and CEO of Invest USA, a national grassroots nonprofit organization

that is helping hundreds of communities provide

thousands of bullproof best for their police forces. We're going to talk about that in just a little

bit, but I wanted to talk about his work with police organizations, law enforcement agencies

around the country, and why today that is so so needed because if you read the news to any degree, the headlines, you get the impression sometimes that blue state mayors and governors are at odds with law enforcement.

And some of them act like they are co-president.

Michael, do I overstate the case there, or do you see that, too? No, we see that all the time, unfortunately, see that all across the

country, you know, just to validate what you said, just in the last few days, we had, this was in a

red state now, we had it in Georgia, we had the mayor whose wife was working as the town clerk.

She was very hostile towards law enforcement.

So the chief and the police officers complained to some of the city council members.

Well, when the mayor found out that they had complained, he fired the whole staff.

The chief had all 10 officers. Just, you know, now, he fired the whole staff, the chief and all 10 officers.

Just, you know, now, he has a positive ending because of the fact that two days later,

the town council had an emergency meeting and reinstated them and then referred him to the

attorney general law office for them to review whether there was any violation or obstruction
