Woo. 2025. What a freaking year.

If YouTube changes one more time, I'm, uh, just, I'm going to become a whole person.

I'm going to, don't move any buttons. I'm, I'm, I will, you will never see me again. I will

disappear. It'll, it'll be over. Hey, you know, on that front, I think it's going to be a really

cool beginning of the year because so many creators are just taking the time off. A, you know, on that front, I think it's going to be a really cool beginning of the year

because so many creators are just taking the time off. A lot of us would work through the

holidays. Ad revenue is lower, but a lot of people would be like, no, I know, there's a nice

captive audience. I know so many. Ad revenue is, that's putting it lower. That's putting it lightly.

Ad revenue is the worst it ever is all year, with the exception of, for us very specifically, like March this year was actually worse.

In like content creator's fear, though, the exposure, you know, I know a lot of creators who always work during the holidays.

And this is probably the record number of creators who are just like, nope, this year was too much. I'm out for two weeks. Have my final video. I'm done. And I think it's going to be a good 2026. I'm on the opposite. I don't know. No one I like watching make stuff during the holidays. Like absolutely no one. So that's just that's just kind of the norm for me. I mean, we usually take a little bit of time off too. So. Dungeon Tube usually goes pretty hard D&D, YouTubers. They usually go hard during the holidays. Oh, that's like peek cozy vibes. Like you want to gamers, streamers, you know, a lot of people keep going pretty hard. And, yeah, we're all, I think we're all real a little bit after a big year in the creatosphere. Too much, you can, you know, read some old Patreon posts. They're all free newsletters. You can go over to support our brandmands.com and read everything that's happened this year. Yeah, we talked to.

We talked a lot about it at the beginning of our Final Fantasy 4 finale stream last Thursday,

just kind of how the year went.

We had two moments this year where it felt like YouTube was actively trying to kill us.
