About this chapter?

Okay, I have a lot of thoughts about this.

I'm so excited to talk about this because I feel like my journey reading this chapter was a huge roller coaster

Because at the very beginning I started reading this chapter and I said this is so boring. Who cares?

And then literally like five paragraphs later, I was in.

Because I feel like John Connington is a really interesting guy and I was talking to you a little bit about

this before we were recording Classic and then I stopped because I was like this is something that we should

probably talk about on the podcast. John Connington is a really

interesting guy and a lot of the there's a lot in this chapter that has major

implications for things that we'll see play out in the next two books.

And so the chapter is really important.

But if you think about where we are in the the story it's hard to like really get

into what his storyline is because we spend so little time with him and it's like

why does this matter you know why does this like place that we have to look up on a map

because we're like not super familiar with?

Why does that matter right now when in our reading order we just got off that Cercy chapter and she's about to do

her walk-up at helmet there's a couple of chapters between that in the actual

reading work in the actual book itself yeah it's eight or nine chapters. Yeah, but I just feel like.

Presented to you in this way it was more exciting than before.

This, it's more exciting the more time we like I sat in this chapter and thought about what this means for a song of life and fire
