And if you're listening to the show and would like to support us, please visit thegraynato.com for more details. My name is James Stacey and I'm joined as ever by my friend and co-host, Jason Heaton. Hey Jason, how are we doing? Oh, since Monday, since we talked last, I'm doing okay. We're kind of a weird time warp scenario here where today's main topic was recorded a couple of weeks ago and we're recording this so well over a week

0:39.5

before it's going to run. So it's kind of a weird scenario. But yeah, so far so good. It's a

0:43.2

beautiful day here. It's actually going to be quite, quite summary. We'll see if that lasts.

0:48.0

But yeah, how about you? You're still fighting some jet lag, I'm sure. I'm still just getting,

0:53.7

yeah, just still in the, you know, the throws. I'm still just getting, yeah, just just still

0:54.6

in the, you know, the throws of figuring out, you know, the post plan for watches and wonders and getting stories up and trying to get some sleep. And I'm off to Vancouver tomorrow. You're off to California this weekend. So we kind of had like a three-day window to, you know, as I like to say put a bow on the, on the, uh, to put a bow on the megasode, but also to prep the sort of front and back of the episode for today's chat with Victor Viscovo, obviously a legendary explorer, a man who's been to the bottom of the ocean, et cetera, et cetera. We will get to that in just a moment. Today's kind of chit chat up top isn't going to be super timely again because this doesn't run for a little while and because we just did some chit-chat a couple days ago.

1:33.1

You're off to California. It looks like you're going to be swinging by wind-up SF. You're excited to be out there?

1:38.5

Yeah, it's going to be, I think I mentioned this in the last episode. I've got quite a varied lineup of stuff to do.

1:43.5

We're going to opera performances in L.A. on the last episode. I've got quite a varied lineup of stuff to do. We're going to

1:44.5

some opera performances in L.A. on the next on this coming weekend, which is now in the past for

1:49.7

people listening. And then driving north up the coast, kind of stopping a few places along the way,

1:55.0

including hopefully a dive of conditions hold around Big Sur with some folks that everyone will be familiar

2:04.2

with and I don't want to give anything away there. And then, yeah, ending up eventually in San

2:10.2

Francisco a week later with the second of my my girlfriend's daughters who lives there and we'll be hanging out in the city and then it just seemed like the timing could be such that I'll end up at wind up San Francisco.

2:23.3

So, you know, in a very civilian capacity.

2:26.3

That's great.

2:27.3

Capacity. Just kind of walk the show and say hi to some people. So yeah, if anyone's around and they they see me and recognize me or at least hear my voice, say hi.

2:36.2

I'd love to chat with some folks.
