All right. Why don't we get started here with some sad news?

This is a happy podcast and thank you all for joining us again.

But we're recording this Saturday morning.

And I woke up to the news that Jimmy Buffett had died overnight at age 76.

I didn't know that he had been hospitalized in May and apparently in in pretty grave danger.

And a few months after that last night, he died.

And it was a shock to me because Jimmy Buffett's been a huge part of our lives.

My wife and I love him. Probably other than Elton John, we've seen him

in concert more than anybody else, including this past February at the Hard Rock Live,

which was just a couple of months before he apparently was diagnosed with something grave.

So I really, I'm stunned by the news. As we as we do this, I'm actually a little bit off-kilter

because this has hit me pretty hard. Do you guys have anything emotionally with Jimmy Buffett?

He never caught my fancy, I guess we should say, but I have plenty of friends who we did who just

love, love Jimmy Buffett. And so I respect, he also said, every man's musician never

rubbed me the wrong way either. I hate Jimmy Buffett. Buffett tune comes on.

Cool. And cheeseburger and paradise. That's fun. That's undeniable.

Paradise. Like just that alone, that little background thing was great.
