Hello everyone.

Welcome to the Greg Cody Show podcast.

And I'm going to wish you defiantly a happy New Year because I know it's January 9th

when we're recording this and some people have all these rules about when you have to stop

wishing somebody a happy New Year, but I don't know by my rules like that.

You know, it could be March and I could be wishing you a happy New Year.

And if you don't like it, tell with it.

So happy New Year.

Happy New Year everybody.

I am going to say that we have come out of the New Year after the weirdest holiday in Cody family history.

We did have a bout with with COVID with the Omicron thing that everybody seems to be catching.

And thankfully we all had very mild symptoms.

We, you know, we're vaccineed and boosted up and all that.

So for a few days, I felt like I'd been hit with the flu and I was lethargic and all that, but we came out of it.

But we did have to and I suspect there are thousands of families all over the country who did the exact same thing.

We postponed Christmas said to hell with the calendar and actually celebrated Christmas morning on New Year's day because of COVID.

So that was that was sort of a weird experience that that I have a feeling a lot of people listening.

Maybe have a similar story to tell, but we're happy to have come out of it.

And now we have a big episode.
