Buried within the histories of West Virginia, is the story of Elva Zona Heaster-Shue. A woman who was found dead in late January of 1897. Not an unusual occurrence, by itself, but weeks later her mother would claim to receive a message from her dearly departed daughter, that her death was anything but natural.
