I'm Andrew Heaton, and today we are wrapping up on third party week here on the show with the

discussion of the Green Party and I have bad news.

Dr. Jill Stein, the 2024 Green Party nominee, will not be coming on the program today.

I have been hounding her campaign manager and he has been very polite and has tried to get

Dr Stein here on the program but they just didn't seem to have quite enough time to

get it done but to their credit they they were kind of willing to do it with us and it just didn't end

up happening sadly which I would have liked but I will try instead to give you

a primer on the Green Party and Dr Stein, we're going to do a two-part to that effect on the show today.

First, absent talking with the nominee, Jill Stein, I went through her policy platform and I read through the Green Party's New Deal,

and I am going to walk you through their policy goals.

Then I will invite a Green Party voter to come on and explain why she's voting for Jill Stein.

Finally, I will post a link to my interview from four years ago with Howie Hawkins in the episode description.
