Hey there, hey there, listeners, welcome to horror movie club, the show where two dudes who are not quite nerds but not quite nobs choose a horror movie each week to rate and review.

I'm Brian, I'm on the phone with Ashvin, and today we are talking about the Green green inferno from 2013, directed by Eli Roth, written by Eli Roth and Guillermo Amoedo, starring Lorenza, Izzo, Ariel Levy, Nicholas Martinez, and Sky Ferreira.

This movie is about a group of college students trying to stop deforestation in the Amazon, and they get stranded

in the jungle among hostile natives. We watched this movie with friends and listeners using the

Netflix party feature of Netflix, which was a ton of fun. We had narrowed it down to a few movies

for our Discord friends, and this is what y'all chose. So we had a

great time with all of you and we hope you, uh, hope we do you justice with this, uh, this episode.

I think this was a movie, Ashton, I think you put it best after we had ended the Netflix party that

this, I was really glad we watched this as a group.

Oh, man, totally.

My expectations were so, like, low going into this just because Eli Ratz, like, his reputation

and everything.

I just thought it would be, like, a really torture-heavy film.

But, yeah, it was really fun to watch, like, in a group with people.

Yeah.

Yeah, and I think if we had watched it alone

this would be a very different episode yeah for sure for sure uh before we get going i want to give a shout

out to uh three of the people who are on the netflix party have their own movie podcasts um whitney scott

lights cameron know, very funny show.
